Turning into an alley in Asakusa’s old street, you’ll discover this vintage coffee shop favored by time! annorum cafe is tucked away on the first floor of an old building, with a wooden door frame hanging a faded sign. Opening the door feels like stepping into a Showa-era café—retro radios, tin toys, and nostalgic posters are displayed here and there, even the wood grain of the bar counter bears the marks of time. Every corner tells a story📸
The space inside is small but warmly and delicately decorated, with old-style sofas paired with vintage tables and chairs. Sunlight streams through the lattice windows, shining on the floral cloth-covered table corners. The air is filled with the aroma of coffee and woody scents. I ordered the signature hand drip coffee and chiffon cake; the coffee cup was made of vintage porcelain with delicate cracks. The taste was rich with caramel sweetness, and the cake was as soft as a cloud—together, instantly healing~
The biggest surprise is the small vintage goods shop inside, offering everything from Showa-era coffee equipment to nostalgic stationery. The owner enthusiastically introduces the history of each item✨ Sitting by the window on a weekend afternoon, watching people come and go in Asakusa while listening to the crackling sound of vinyl records, time seems to slow down here~ If you want to escape the hustle and bustle in Asakusa, you must visit this café surrounded by a retro atmosphere!
