The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Lobby Lounge

Enjoy afternoon tea at a charming spot overlooking Tokyo Tower. This place is where I stopped by the restroom when I first came to Tokyo for my honeymoon over 10 years ago to see Tokyo Tower. I remember it as a symbol of Tokyo.

December is the Christmas season. Out of 20 seats, about 6 are prepared as front-row seats with a Tokyo Tower view. The lucky afternoon tea set consists of 5 types of savory items and 9 types of sweets including scones.

A welcome drink cocktail with champagne is served, offering a Christmas-like flavor. The all-you-can-drink plan lasts an impressive 3 hours and is limited to weekdays. Of course, the second round of afternoon tea is already waiting, so you can use it for only 90 minutes.

Drink orders are made by scanning a QR code and ordering through the web. It takes over 10 minutes because the lobby lounge is full, but the seat spacing is wide, so it’s not noisy. The food is, of course, delicious.

At the hotel entrance, heading toward mid-December, the ginkgo trees were full of yellow leaves, creating an amazing harmony with the sunny Tokyo Tower. The window view is not stuffy as a fountain flows between the walls. Thank you.
