[Tokyo] A Complete Collection of Renoir and Cézanne Works at Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum

The exhibition "Renoir × Cézanne: Two Masters Who Opened Modernism," currently held at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, is a special exhibition focusing on Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Paul Cézanne, painters representing Impressionism and Post-Impressionism.

About 50 representative works by Renoir and Cézanne from the collections of the famous French museums, the Orangerie Museum and the Orsay Museum, are on display here🍎
This exhibition is a world tour planned and supervised by the Orangerie Museum in Paris, France, and after Milan, Martigny (Switzerland), and Hong Kong, Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum is the only venue in Japan.
Since many works that are rarely seen are exhibited, I highly recommend visiting if you have even a little interest🐾

Renoir, called the "happy painter," paints vivid and charming pictures with gentle touches, while Cézanne paints clear lines and shapes with a free style.
Although their works are basically very different in style, as they were friends, some pieces convey their feelings for each other through their paintings.
Please also pay attention to Renoir’s works depicting "apples," a typical motif of Cézanne👀

Tickets are 2,500 yen per adult, and audio guides are available for rent at 550 yen🙆‍♀️
The exhibition runs until September 7‼️

📍Location: 2-6-2 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-0005
🕰️Hours: 10:00-18:00 (Closed on Mondays) Please check as hours may vary on some days✅
