You can see kimonos and displays of small items like combs.
I'm not an expert myself, but it's really fun to go and see it in person.
The kimono displays were especially captivating.
The souvenir selection is quite extensive, which I think fans will love.
There was a capsule toy machine with pins featuring a collaboration between Neko-Ōoku and Ōoku, so I tried it as a souvenir (500 yen per try).
I bought tickets online in advance. On the day, you enter with a QR code but receive a paper ticket at the entrance.
I visited on a weekend afternoon, and it wasn’t very crowded 🎵
They also offered free parasol rentals.
Once you go, you’ll start to get interested in other exhibitions too.
It’s cool inside, so it’s recommended for summer sightseeing.
