Tokyo Chofu City Hidden Forest Dining Table

This time in Tokyo, I specially made a reservation at the legendary Maruta, a "semi-open-air" style restaurant hidden in the Tama forest. It takes about 40 minutes by train from Shinjuku, and stepping off feels like arriving at a fairy tale forest cabin✨

The specialty is "fire cooking" — all dishes are slowly cooked over a wood fire. There are no complicated seasonings, yet the original freshness and flavor of the ingredients are brought out to the fullest. The dining pace is slow, and each dish feels like a ritual of communicating with nature.

Delicious and fun! My favorite part is the dessert section where you can choose freely and even roast marshmallows yourself. Highly recommended! Super luxurious!!
