Situated inside the Tokyo Skytree complex, Sumida Aquarium is a modern, beautifully designed space that showcases aquatic life from Tokyo Bay, the Izu Islands, and beyond. Its open layout allows visitors to get up close to penguins, fur seals, and colorful tropical fish. The aquarium’s jellyfish display is particularly mesmerizing. While not huge, it’s packed with engaging exhibits and is perfect for a relaxing visit after sightseeing at the Skytree.
