Sumida Aquarium: Swim in the Underwater Fantasy World

The Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo has a modern architectural design, and the transparent walls make people feel as if they are in the underwater world. The colorful tropical fish swam freely in front of us, and the children were extremely excited. The warm interactive areas everywhere allowed them to enjoy close contact with the small animals.

The aquarium has a rich variety of exhibits, including river creatures unique to Japan and adorable penguin shows. What impressed me most was the large aquarium, which housed giant sharks and various marine creatures. When they swam, it felt as if one had entered a distant underwater world. The children pointed at the big fish swimming leisurely and contentedly in amazement, reluctant to leave.

Aquarium staff also share interesting facts about the creatures from time to time, helping us gain a deeper understanding of these underwater miracles.
