Roppongi Hills: Past Illuminations & Christmas Trees
Avoiding Crowds: Take the bus from Shinagawa Station Takanawa Exit, the Megurin, for direct access to Roppongi Hills.
Keyakizaka Illumination (Archive)
• Every year, the approximately 400-meter-long Keyakizaka Street is decorated with "SNOW & BLUE" illuminations in white and blue tones (about 800,000 to 1.2 million lights) .
• The lighting hours are generally from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with excellent direct access from the station .
• It is a popular photo spot with Tokyo Tower as the backdrop, and compositions taken from both the top and bottom of the slope, such as in front of Tiffany or near Tsutaya Bookstore, are especially recommended .
• Special guests sometimes appear at the lighting ceremony (e.g., Michiko Kichise) .
Christmas Market (Ooyane Plaza)
• A genuine German-style market with 10 shops offering mulled wine, sausages, glass crafts, ornaments, and more .
• There is also a stand space to warm up with pleasant hot drinks, perfect for winter strolls .
• Admission is free, and it is usually held from 11:00 AM to around 9:00 PM .
Indoor Christmas Trees (West Walk, 66 Plaza, etc.)
• Inside West Walk, a pure white tree reminiscent of snow appears, creating a fantastic atmosphere .
• At 66 Plaza, the "Light Bouquet" illumination shines colorfully, with about 200,000 LEDs glowing like a bouquet of flowers (2023–2024 season) .
Mouri Garden Illumination
• The lush garden is elegantly lit up with two shades of gold and champagne gold lights .
