📍Tokyo Tower (東京タワー) was built in 1958 as a symbol of Japan's post-war recovery and economic recovery. The design is inspired by the Eiffel Tower, but is 13 meters taller (333 m). Architect Tachu Naito created it for broadcasting purposes, as well as as a tourist attraction. The tower quickly became a cultural symbol of Tokyo, appearing in anime, films, and manga🌙
📍When it opened on December 23, 1958, it became the tallest tower in the world at the time. It remained the main broadcasting center until 2012, when it was replaced by the Tokyo Skytree. Today, it is a popular spot for tourists and romantic strolls.
📍The Number 333: The height (333 m), 3 main sections, and even 333 steps to the main observation deck - the number was not chosen by chance, it is considered lucky.
Color: Painted in red and white for aviation safety, but the lighting changes according to the seasons and events (for example, pink for Valentine's Day). 💡
📍 Durability: Designed to withstand earthquakes up to 9 points and typhoons - a true Japanese engineering masterpiece! 🌪️
