A journey to experience the essence of architecture at the legendary Art Deco "Imperial Hotel Old Main Building"

This stay experience overall met the standards of a high-end hotel, but there were a few minor disappointments. Here’s my review for those considering a stay:
🌟 Pros
1. Ice towel welcome at the entrance: Self-serve ice towels at the entrance allow guests to refresh and cool down. This thoughtful detail truly reflects the refined "Japanese hospitality."
2. Personalized check-in escort: After completing the check-in process, staff personally escort you to your room instead of leaving you to find your way. This level of service aligns with the professionalism of a five-star hotel.
3. Great room view: The Tokyo scenery outside the window is stunning, perfect for photos and social media posts.
4. Wooden amenities: The use of wooden amenities instead of plastic adds both tactile and aesthetic quality, while also supporting sustainability.
⚠️ Cons
1. Service from suited staff at the entrance: Likely the Doorman or Concierge, but they don’t proactively ask if assistance is needed. For a hotel of Imperial’s stature, this comes across as indifferent.
2. Small room space: Despite the prime location, the room feels a bit cramped considering the price point.
3. Service inconsistency: While the overall service is "good," the Imperial Hotel’s reputation and pricing set higher expectations. It feels like you’re paying primarily for "service," but the actual experience falls short of those expectations.
4. Treatment influenced by attire?: My impression is that if guests dress casually, the staff’s enthusiasm might decrease. For a hotel that prides itself on history and character, this is a minor letdown.
