A journey to experience the essence of architecture at the legendary Art Deco "Imperial Hotel Old Main Building"

The "Imperial Hotel Old Main Building (Wright Building)" once located in Hibiya, Tokyo, is a world-renowned architectural masterpiece designed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Completed in 1923, its unique design blending Art Deco and Mayan civilization motifs is still talked about today✨
The actual visit was to the entrance part of the Wright Building preserved in Meiji Mura, Tochigi Prefecture. The heavy stone structure and geometric pattern decorations took my breath away. It’s truly a “sacred place” that architecture enthusiasts should see at least once. Recommended for couples on an architecture tour or solo travelers!
📍Access: About 20 minutes by bus from Meitetsu "Inuyama Station" (Meiji Mura Museum)
🎟️Travel tips: Meiji Mura is vast, so if you want to thoroughly see the Wright Building, it’s best to visit early in the morning. There is also an architectural guided tour, so advance reservation is recommended📖
