A Luxurious Experience of Cherry Blossoms and Coffee: Hanami Report at Nakameguro Starbucks

There are only six Starbucks Reserve Coffee Shops in the country, one of which is located in Nakameguro, Tokyo. Designed by master craftsman Kengo Kuma, it incorporates cherry blossom elements, symbolizing the beautiful scenery of the Meguro River during the cherry blossom season in early April each year.
Upon entering the shop, you're greeted by the rich aroma of coffee, as beans are roasted daily here. Customers can enjoy their coffee while observing the roasting process. A siphon pipe leads all the way to the third floor, where the coffee is packaged and shipped.
The first floor is divided into several sections: the entrance leads to the merchandise area, followed by the bar for ordering, the pour-over coffee area to the right, the roasting workshop in the middle, and the roasting area at the back.
The second floor is a world of tea, featuring all of Starbucks's most popular teas of recent years. The staff will attentively explain each tea and offer tastings.
The stairwell is also a prime photo spot, with a wall made of cups creating a striking display of geometric and mathematical beauty. The third-floor outdoor area offers views of the Meguro River and the Nakameguro cityscape. Inside, a coffee bean production line and a mixology bar merge.
It would be a shame to think of this place solely as a cafe; instead, it serves as a focal point showcasing coffee culture and the influence of the Starbucks brand. The staff will happily help you find your favorite flavor or find some merchandise, allowing you to experience the full flavor of coffee in this lively atmosphere.
