🇯🇵 Fuunji Tsukemen

This year, I went to Japan for the first time during cherry blossom season. I'd always wanted to travel during cherry blossom season, but airfare was incredibly expensive. This time, I found a great deal on a spot flight. Round-trip flights from Taipei to Tokyo were only NT$8,900 on Scoot. If you're looking for a ticket for cherry blossom season under NT$10,000, don't hesitate to buy it! I bought my flight, booked my accommodations, confirmed my insurance, and even finalized my itinerary within a month. I felt incredibly efficient! 👍🏻
This was also my first solo trip, and I tried to savor every attraction. I let go of my daily worries and constantly engaged in conversation with myself, reflecting on my current state of mind. I slowed down, relieved my usual tension and stress, and didn't need to match everyone else's pace. When I got tired, I just went back to the hotel to rest and savored my own time. Traveling with friends offers the joy of a group tour, but traveling alone also offers its own healing power!

B. Noodles
• Made with medium-thick straight noodles, they are specially designed for tsukemen and ramen. • Choose from a variety of tsukemen portions (standard, large, and more).
C. Signature Dishes
• Special Tsukemen: A must-order for many tourists and gourmets.
• Ramen: In addition to tsukemen, regular broth is also available.
• If there's any leftover broth, the restaurant often has dashi broth to add to make it more drinkable.
D. Reputation and Special Features
• Highly rated by both Japanese and international ramen reviewers.
• Due to its fame and popularity, some reviews note that the broth can sometimes become cold and bland towards the end.

📝 Notes and Recommendations
• Limited seating, so expect to wait during peak hours.
• Reservations are not accepted.
• Arrive early or choose a less popular time to minimize waits.
• Orders are mostly made through vending machines (meal ticket machines), and an English menu is available.
• For tsukemen, it's recommended to dip the noodles in the water before consuming them. Add dashi to the end to adjust the texture.
