Monument to commemorate the friendship between Japan and France
When you go to Odaiba, you will find a replica of the Statue of Liberty, the symbol of New York, facing Tokyo Bay. The statue facing the Rainbow Bridge feels like it was built in the same size, but in reality, it is only about 1/7 of the size of the original statue in New York.

This monument was built temporarily in 1998 to commemorate the friendship between Japan and France, but because it was so popular, it was made permanent in 2000. The Statue of Liberty in Odaiba is not the only statue in Japan. There are also sisters of the goddess in Shimoda and Osaka.
