Ancient Town
Tongling Museum: You can learn about the origin, mining, smelting process of copper, as well as various copper ores and copper products (the second and fourth floors were under renovation when we went there, so we only visited the first floor)
Tianjing Lake Park: The lake here is like a mirror, clear to the bottom, with reflections of mountains and mountains. The garden and the stele forest reveal the flavor of Jiangnan gardens.
Tongguanshan 1978 Cultural and Creative Park: It mainly utilizes the resources of the ruins of the miners' residences in the Tongguanshan Copper Mine in the 1960s and 1970s. There are relatively few shops open now, so it is not recommended to go there.
Yongquan Town: I would like to call it the "Secret Land of Jiangnan". The ancient courtyards nestled in the mountains and beside the water and the small bridges surrounding the ancient trees and strange rocks have very nice scenery and are suitable for strolling. The park is not very big and can be walked through in about an hour. The night view of the Twelve Scenes of Jiangnan is particularly beautiful. You can also buy a cup of steaming hot canned roasted milk halfway up the mountain (especially suitable for winter)
【Tips for playing】
Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes when going to Yongquan Town. Some mountain roads are really difficult to climb. Copper coins can be exchanged for three yuan in Yongquan Bank. If you can't use them all, you can return them. Of course, you can also pay with your mobile phone without exchanging them (there are not many food items, so you can exchange less and experience buying things with copper coins)
Datong Ancient Town: Ancient towns often have a unique charm. You can stroll along the old cobblestone roads, admire the quaint buildings, and feel the traces left by time; you can also visit the specialty shops on the street and find some interesting little items; it would be even more perfect if you can taste the traditional food of the ancient town. There is also a porpoise protection area inside, where feeding will be conducted at 10:00, 14:00 and 16:00, but the entrance ticket costs 30 yuan each.
