Dream Company Retreat!! Staying at a Designer Homestay in Tonglu

Last week, I joined our company retreat at "Shanchuan Yin · Designer Homestay" in Tonglu, and I'm here to share my real experience with you all~

🏡 First Impression

I was immediately drawn to the homestay's architectural style upon arrival—the geometric lines are super design-forward. Turns out it's the work of renowned architect Shen Mo.

The overall environment is pristine and upscale, blending seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and water.

📷 Photo Ops

▫️ Key highlight! The pool is incredibly photogenic! Crystal-clear water with a backdrop of white architecture and mountain views—couldn’t stop snapping pics.

▫️ The courtyard in the backyard is also perfect for photos. Chilling there with colleagues during our break was so relaxing.

▫️ Today’s MVP definitely goes to the floating afternoon tea—gorgeous presentation and surprisingly delicious, paired perfectly with the pool for stunning shots~

🍢 Retreat Activities

▫️ We had an outdoor BBQ at night, with ingredients and grills provided by the homestay owner. Grilling and chatting was a blast.

▫️ The beer blind-tasting at the little bar was so fun—guessing which flavors were best with colleagues, and they all turned out great.

▫️ The restaurant meals were tasty and generous, so convenient not having to go out for food.

💡 Personal Take

This retreat spot was a fantastic choice. The homestay is uniquely designed but not over-the-top, super comfortable with plenty of space for activities.

Grilling, sipping drinks, and chatting with colleagues was beyond therapeutic. I’d 100% vote to come back here for the next retreat!
