Tongren is a hidden paradise in the mountains.

This hotel on the cliff is so, so, so, so comfortable. Watch the fog when it rains and the clouds when it's sunny. The experience is great no matter the weather. The balcony is right on the edge of the cliff, and you can see the mountains as soon as you open the door. Watch the sunrise and sunset, and the stars at night.
The char siu and roast goose made by the chef at the cliff restaurant in the scenic area are so delicious. They're fatty but not greasy, and so, so, so delicious!
The scenic area has a cable car, mine, grass skiing, and some undeveloped 80s and 90s red culture.
