Lucky Tottori Snow Hill-Cost Taxi for Foreigners

This was a trip of great luck.
A few days ago, traffic in Kansai was suspended due to heavy snowfall. When I arrived, traffic had been restored, leaving me with a beautiful snow scene.
Go directly to the desk next to Tottori Station to reserve a taxi for foreigners. The mother-in-law at the desk actually speaks Chinese, and you can choose a three-hour trip. I chose Line 2, White Rabbit Shrine-Sand Dunes-Castle Ruins. It took 30-40 minutes to visit the shrine including the gift shop. Sure enough, we only visited the shrine for a while. The guardian was so cute.
Passing by Tottori Airport, the driver let me down to take pictures. Although he only gave me five minutes, I was satisfied.
The sand dunes were full of snow. I gave up my bag and only took my tripod. It was still so hot that I doubted my life. Just take off your coat too. The snow hill was super spectacular, but it was still slippery and breathless when I climbed to the top.
The driver, who didn't understand the language, also got out of the car and finally told me using Google Voice: That is the highest mountain in western Japan.
After playing for an hour, I was sweating all over. In the last half hour, I went to the Tottori Castle ruins. From the entrance of Nifukaku, no one walked through the snow and the snow was still very flat. When I got to the door, I realized that there was an entrance fee and I didn't bring any money.
The snow is too difficult to walk on, and the nearby city ruins are just passable. If you try to reach the entrance and then climb again, you will probably collapse.
I asked the driver to take me to the Matsuba Crab restaurant. There was no one in line, and there was no one when I opened it. All in all, it was super delicious for 8,000, and I said goodbye to Wagyu beef. In the end, it was too salty, and for such a frequently recommended store, no staff could speak English.
Walking around Tottori Street is really a bit desolate, probably because they are all izakayas. They are not lively at all during the day and many of them are closed. Unfortunately, I didn’t buy a Starbucks dune cup. #tottori #tottorisnowhill #foreignertaxi
