Lake Toya, Hokkaido
The Silo Observatory, an observation deck located on the north side of Lake Toya along National Route 230 in Shikotsu-Toya National Park in Hokkaido, offers a panoramic view of Lake Toya, Nakajima, Lake Toya Onsen, and Mount Usu.
On the south side of Lake Toya, you can see Lake Toya Onsen on the lakeside, the active volcano Mount Usu, and Showa Shinzan, which was formed by volcanic activity from 1943 to 1945.
The observation deck has a souvenir shop and a restaurant, and is also used as a short resting place during drives.
I think that many people use this place as a resting place on their way to Hakodate, rather than going here,
However, I think it is worth going once, so please come and visit! !
