[Turkey🇹🇷Bus Trip] Istanbul → Cappadocia

I took a bus to Cappadocia, a city that is very popular all over the world. It's an overnight bus, so you can travel efficiently while you're sleeping✨

★Schedule
********************

Departure (Istanbul)

Alibeyköy Otogari

📍Güzeltepe, alibeyköy cep otogarı peron:1,, 34060 Eyüpsultan/İstanbul,

Arrival (Cappadocia)

Nevsehir Otogari

📍Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Necip Fazıl Bulv. No:1, 50040 Nevşehir Merkez/Nevşehir,

Trivia💡
In Turkey, bus terminals are called "otogari".

★Price
********************
💰1000 lira per person

The hotel made the reservation for me. I think it would be a little cheaper if I arranged it myself. You can also buy it directly at the counter. It was 500 lira by taxi from central Istanbul to otogari.

*There seems to be no other way to get there than by taxi.

★Bus company
********************

The company was Cappadocia VIP.

By the way, METORO seems to be the most famous.

★In-bus service
********************

Drinks and snacks were handed out.

This seems to be a common service on Turkish express buses.

★Otogari review
********************

Otogari wasn't that big, so I didn't have to worry about getting lost. You can buy snacks. There are clean toilets for a fee, so it's reassuring.

★Try riding
********************

The bus was scheduled to depart at 22:20, but it actually arrived around 22:30, departing about 20 minutes late.

Buses overseas almost never arrive on time. Lol

We stopped at several cities in Turkey on the way (including the capital Ankara) and took several breaks, arriving around 8:20 the next day. It was a 10-hour bus trip, but the seats were spacious and I was able to sleep soundly☺️

We flew from Japan to Istanbul, and then took a bus from Istanbul to Cappadocia🚌
We recommend traveling around the vast cities of Turkey👍
