This time, I'll introduce you to a place in Aomori that has a superb view of Senbon Torii gates😌⛩️
This is Takayama Inari Shrine in Tsugaru City, Aomori Prefecture.
I love the torii gates at shrines, and I've often visited Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, but I didn't know that Aomori also has Senbon Torii gates...🫧I heard that it's been gaining popularity on social media recently as a superb view, so I went to visit right away🌷
This place is on top of Takayama in Tsugaru City, about an hour's drive from Aomori Station🚗
The main hall is also very beautiful, but the highlight is the Senbon Torii gates⛩️The countless vermilion torii gates lined up make it seem like another world🫧
I walked through the torii gates in order. As you walk around, you'll come across a spot overlooking the Senbon Torii from a high point, which is a recommended photo spot 📷
Cherry blossoms and hydrangeas bloom every season, and in winter the contrast between the snow and the Torii is beautiful 🩵It is also said to bring good fortune as the god of bountiful harvests, safety at sea, and prosperous business 🙂🌸
