A hidden gem of a ginkgo tree-lined street found in Tsukuba

Last year, when I visited Hitachi Province's Izumo Taisha Shrine ⛩️ and Fukuroda Falls, I happened upon a row of ginkgo trees that was so beautiful I wanted to share it with you!

It's located at the entrance to the Geological Museum, which is free to visit, so perhaps it's not well known?
I was able to see the row of ginkgo trees with almost no people around!!!

Last year, like the other autumn foliage seasons, the peak viewing time was at the end of November,
which was later than average!
I'm not sure when the best viewing time will be this year, but...
If you're in the area, be sure to check it out!!!

The nearby Geological Museum examines the layers of the earth to learn about the tectonic plates that cause earthquakes and to study earthquakes that occurred hundreds of years ago...
Personally, it was fascinating to see! 🤔

Be sure to check it out along with the Geological Museum!
