Japan | A hot spring hotel floating on a rice field

Tsuruoka City is a small city located 300 kilometers away from Tokyo, in the Shonai region of Yamagata Prefecture in northeastern Japan.

Hidden in this Tsuruoka City is a hot spring hotel 'Shonai Hotel Suiden Terrasse' floating on a rice field.

The hotel was built using the local natural rice field scenery, and perfectly integrated with the surrounding mountains and towns, as much as possible to retain the beautiful rice field scenery when the land was originally used, and cleverly integrate the building into the overall landscape.

The hotel is mainly designed with wood, in addition to basic hot spring facilities, it also has a small library with more than 2000 books. It also has its own farm for guests to experience the fun of farming. There is also a children's hall near the hotel, which is very friendly to families with children. Why not escape the hustle and bustle of the city on a holiday and take a look at the rural scenery!
