Suiden Terrace is a hotel that floats over the rice fields, blending in with the surrounding mountains and rural scenery.

Designed by world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban, it is designed so that you can feel the presence of the rice fields no matter where you are.

I stayed in a Rural View Hollywood Twin Room. It was a simple and comfortable space that made use of the warmth of wood.

I ate at the restaurant Moon Terrace. In an open space overlooking Mt. Gassan, you can experience the food of Shonai Yamagata throughout the year.

You can also enjoy the lounge, which is equipped with a server where you can enjoy local sake and wine from Shonai Yamagata by yourself.

At the spa, you can relieve your daily fatigue with natural hot spring water and a Finnish sauna.
We were able to relax both physically and mentally.
