We entered from the South Gate at the back. Since we entered from the back of the Phoenix Hall, the beauty of Byodo-in Temple gradually became apparent along the way. From the Front Gate, you can admire the garden right before your eyes. If it's your first time visiting Byodo-in Temple, I think you'll be more impressed from the Front Gate.
