Byodoin is a famous cultural heritage in Japan, and is said to be a national treasure built during the Heian period.
The admission fee is 500 yen, and you can tour the museum inside. As it is a Japanese Buddhist relic, there were a lot of Buddhist-related treasures on display.

It was a relic that could be easily toured in an hour, but I could see that Byodoin is a really important national treasure to the Japanese through the image of Byodoin on the Japanese 10 yen coin.
