Yuanlin Transparent Air Toumei Kuuk: A Culinary and Relaxation Getaway

Walking along Yuanji Road in Yuanlin City, you'll come across a Japanese-style building that seems to exist in isolation, untouched by the hustle and bustle of the world. This serene structure houses a scenic restaurant offering both delicious food and breathtaking views.

The entrance bears a sign stating that shoes must be removed upon entry, and reservations are required—walk-ins are not accepted. Perhaps due to the reservation system, dining times are quite flexible, allowing guests to enjoy their meals or spend the day soaking in the scenery. The interior exudes a Japanese aesthetic, creating a comfortable and refreshing atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows at the back of the restaurant, which provide a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Guests can also stroll along the outdoor wooden corridor to admire the surrounding mountains and fields.

The restaurant's designer cleverly uses large windows to blend indoor and outdoor beauty seamlessly. Each window frames a picturesque view of nature, creating a living canvas. During the day, the scenery visible through the windows is stunning, and I imagine the ambiance transforms beautifully as night falls.

This restaurant shattered my preconceived notion that scenic restaurants often lack flavorful dishes. The neighboring tables' curry and soy milk hot pot looked absolutely delectable!
