😊✨ Day Trip to Verona from Mestre 🇮🇹💘

Just an hour by train from Mestre 🚆, Verona makes the perfect day trip! Known as the city of Romeo & Juliet, it’s full of history, romance, and stunning views.

I started by wandering the old streets 🏛️, where every corner feels like a step back in time. The highlight? The Arena of Verona — a Roman amphitheater even older than Rome’s Colosseum, still used today for concerts and opera 🎶.

Of course, no Verona trip is complete without visiting Juliet’s balcony 💌 and Romeo’s house — a little touristy, but full of charm and legend.

Before heading back, I crossed the river and climbed up the hill for a breathtaking sunset view over Verona 🌅 — the rooftops glowing gold as the Adige river winds through the city. Absolutely magical.

💡 Tip: Trains between Mestre and Verona run often — go early to have time to explore, and don’t miss the evening light from the hills!
