A practical warning for future attendees: the sheer length of the route and the lack of heated waiting zones makes this a very cold evening. Standing on the marble steps near the Lower Belvedere for an extended period, waiting for the groups ahead to clear, was deeply uncomfortable. While the cold air enhanced the "spectral" atmosphere, the event should provide more amenities to manage the natural temperature of an Austrian autumn night. Wear your warmest coat, as the elegant horror doesn't provide much warmth.
