It's not France, it's Laos 🙆‍♂️ Vientiane Patuxai

Didn't you think this was the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France when you saw the picture? 🙅♂️ Ding! You were wrong. This is Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Patuxai, which can be called the symbol of Vientiane, has a shape similar to the Arc de Triomphe in France, and is a symbol built to commemorate the victims of the war of independence against France.

The exterior looks like the Arc de Triomphe, but the gorgeous gold leaf, various traditional patterns and decorations inside, and the detailed decorations on the exterior are all decorated in the Laotian style. It feels more gorgeous when the lights reflect, so we recommend visiting between sunset and evening.

There is a huge garden in front of Patuxai, where you can see gorgeous lights and a musical fountain show. You can also go up to the rooftop of Patuxai, but the view from above is amazing, so please note that it is closed in the evening!
