#Laos attractions Patuxai is a prominent landmark of Vientiane. There are stairs to walk up to see the view from above, but it is sometimes closed. If you come to Vientiane, you should stop by here. In the past, it was called "Anusawali". It is a monument located at the end of the northeast of Lan Xang Road in the heart of Vientiane, Laos. It is a tribute to the heroes who fought to declare independence from France. Patuxai is decorated with Lan Xang art, featuring mythical creatures from Buddhism, such as Kinnari and Naga. It is another place that we must check in to in Vientiane. It is like a symbol of Laos that everyone who comes here must take a picture with. We can walk up to the 2nd-5th floor by going upstairs. There is an entrance fee of only 3,000 kip per person. There is a souvenir shop upstairs, selling antiques, rare items, amulets, clothes, and more. You can also see the city view from the upper floor. #Vientiane attractions
