That Luang (Luán) is located to the north of Wat That Luang Temple, north of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, 5 kilometers from the city. It was originally a part of Wat That Luang Temple, but because its importance far exceeds this temple, people usually only call it That Luang, which is a Buddhist holy place in Laos.
