Sai Mu Telu, travel to Vientiane for 2 days

📍Trip Overview
For those who believe in superstition, pay respects at famous temples @Vientiane
1. Wat Ong Teu (Wat Ong Teu): When King Sai Setthathirat moved the capital from Luang Prabang to Vientiane, he commissioned the construction of a temple to enshrine Phra Chao Ong Teu. He also commissioned the casting of four other Buddha images simultaneously: Phra Ong Teu, Phra Suk, Phra Sai, and Phra Soem, thus earning the name "Wat Ong Teu" to this day. Phra Chao Ong Teu is a Lan Xang-style Buddha image. 🙏 #PhraChaoOngTeu #SaiMuteluParuay #vientianelaos
2. Wat Si Muang, built during the reign of King Sai Setthathirat, houses the city pillar. An old legend tells of the connection between a pregnant woman named Sri, who sacrificed her life, her unborn child, and a horse, to protect the city pillar. Consequently, the temple was named "Wat Si Muang." Vientiane residents nicknamed Sao Sri "Sao Si." "Ya Mae Sri Muang" #Wat Sri Muang #Vientiane City Pillar Shrine #MuteluParaRich #vientianelaos
3. Pha That Luang Vientiane, also known as Phra Chedi Loka Chulamani, is an extremely ancient stupa. Legend has it that Pha That Luang was built at the same time as the city of Vientiane, believed to be built around 238 CE by King Chanthaburi Prasitsak, the first ruler of Vientiane. It is also believed to be built around the same time as Pha That Phanom in Nakhon Phanom Province, making it over 2,000 years old. 🙏🛕 #Pha That Luang #Vientiane #MuteluParaRich #vientianelaos
