"Wat Mixai" is located in the middle of the tourist area of ​​Vientiane. Perhaps because of this, it is the drop-off point for buses from Vang Vieng. Even though it is in the center, you will occasionally pass people and cars while walking from the hotel. At the end of such a peaceful place is "Wat Mixai". Although it is small, the front gate is surprising! The flashy colors of red and gold, but if you look closely, you can see that it is well-calculated. There are many orange pillars in the main hall, which is a bit like the Parthenon. As usual, I was able to take my time to look around at it by myself😊
