Japan’s northernmost city, Wakkanai City

Those who don't drive can take the bus to Wakkanai Station, while those who do can pick up their car directly at the airport. Buses run to major attractions, but they're infrequent. The hotel is affordable and offers a sea view! Although it's a small, untouched town, the front desk staff speaks Chinese, which is incredibly convenient! On your way out, try some scallop ramen at the airport cafeteria! It's really cheap and delicious!
