After a busy day at work, I decided to enjoy teppanyaki in Causeway Bay tonight. The restaurant is celebrating its 10th anniversary with special promotions: groups of four or more can enjoy a live lobster teppanyaki for just $288, while groups of two or more can savor a live abalone teppanyaki for only $88.
I opted for the half-price Australian lobster and wagyu beef set for two, along with the $88 live abalone teppanyaki.
The chef showcased impressive skills with on-the-spot cooking.
Handcrafted Appetizers:
Yuzu honey-marinated cherries and salad, offering a refreshing taste.
Seasonal Sashimi:
Amberjack, red shrimp, and salmon, all with sweet and fresh textures.
White Cod Cooked in Onion Sauce:
The fish skin was pan-fried to crispy perfection, while the tender fish meat was enhanced with sea salt and onion sauce, delivering a sweet and smooth flavor.
Live Abalone Teppanyaki:
Fresh abalone was shelled, cleaned, and cooked on the teppan grill. The abalone meat was sweet, crisp, and delicious.
Pan-Seared Lobster:
The lobster meat was removed and pan-seared on the teppan grill, paired with lobster roe sauce for an incredibly fresh and sweet taste.
Hokkaido A5 Wagyu Beef:
Half portion thinly sliced and grilled, with wagyu slices wrapped around garlic chips, offering a rich and savory flavor. The other half was upgraded to thick cuts, showcasing the wagyu's tender, fatty, and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Japanese Shiitake Mushrooms:
Thick and juicy with a rich mushroom flavor.
Teppanyaki Fried Rice:
Prepared with egg, ham, and scallions, each grain was aromatic and flavorful.
Homemade Soy Milk Chicken Soup:
A creamy white chicken soup with colorful vegetables, delivering a sweet and refreshing taste.
Desserts included green tea ice cream and black sesame ice cream, both cold, sweet, and smooth.
