This is crazy! I have to say something about Wanning! Every bit of help counts

I've been in Wanning for a month and have to vent about the recent weather, plus help everyone avoid some pitfalls.

1. Weather issues. In the past month, it was almost a week of sunshine followed by a week of rain. This week has more sunny days, last week had more rain, and next week will be rainy again! If you plan to come to Wanning or Lingshui next week, I suggest you change your route to Sanya.

2. Beaches. In Wanning, there are many hidden, deserted wild beaches. In some places, you can drive right up to the beach. From the Sun River Scenic Bridge to Chunyuan Village along the tourist road, there are many spots where you can pass through woods to reach deserted wild beaches. Some places are also suitable for camping.

3. Scenery. The most beautiful and photogenic thing I've seen in Wanning so far is the sunset at Shenzhou Peninsula. It's simply stunning. I've shared this many times; it's much better than some lesser-known attractions.

4. Next to the Sun River Scenic Bridge, there is Xinqun Bay and Shanhai Langren. Xinqun Bay has very few people and a long beach line. Currently, only some surfing enthusiasts play here. Shanhai Langren is on the opposite side, very off the beaten path, but personally, I find the scenery quite ordinary. However, this place is perfect for tide pooling! Because it’s all rocks underneath, I went around 9 or 10 o'clock and saw many crabs.

5. Shenzhou Peninsula also has hidden Third Bay and Fourth Bay, which outsiders or first-time visitors don’t even know about. These are very quiet wild beach lines. From Third Bay to Fourth Bay can be considered a hiking route.

6. Living on Shenzhou Peninsula, buying groceries is a big problem. So far, I’ve been to Dong’ao Farmers Market, Xinglong Market, and the supermarket at the Outlet. My advice: buy fruits at Xinglong Market, beef at the Outlet supermarket, and pork or regular fish and vegetables at Dong’ao.

7. For friends with young babies who need vaccinations, all the vaccination points on Shenzhou Peninsula are at Wanning Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Enter the door and to the left is the child care department; child care is on the first floor, vaccines on the second floor. If you need to pay for vaccines yourself, I suggest calling first to check availability. We needed the ACWY135 vaccine, which wasn’t available here, so we had to drive to Lingshui for it.

Finally, the sunset time at Shenzhou Peninsula is from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. If you want to see the sunset, be sure to go to the beach during this time!
