Step into the Enchanted Forest Castle of Saihanba and Encounter a Nordic Fairytale

How long has it been since you last had an intimate encounter with nature? This time, I immersed myself in the Saihanba National Forest Park and stayed at a hidden gem of a hotel deep in the woods—an experience that was absolutely perfect 💯

🌳 Surrounded by forest, as if living in a fairytale world
The hotel’s exterior features a cluster of Nordic-style wooden cabins with red roofs and log walls, blending seamlessly with the dense pine forest. It feels like Little Red Riding Hood or the Big Bad Wolf might appear any second—utterly magical! The lobby has soaring ceilings adorned with antler-shaped chandeliers and a cozy faux fireplace 🔥, creating an incredible atmosphere. The common area has a massive floor-to-ceiling window lounge where you can sip coffee while watching falling leaves or snowflakes outside—pure serenity~

🛏 Diverse room types, each full of surprises
Rooms come with either forest or grassland views, and I absolutely adored my forest-view room! The wooden furniture carries a faint pine scent, and the balcony has wicker chairs—perfect for mornings when you might spot squirrels hopping on the trees outside 🐿️. The room amenities are top-notch: 24-hour hot water with strong pressure, ultra-soft goose-feather bedding that feels like sinking into a cloud, and a small tea station with locally sourced golden lotus tea that fills the room with fragrance when brewed. The hotel even offers dreamy stargazing rooms where you can lie in bed and gaze at the Milky Way 🌌 at night.

🍱 A culinary journey through Saihanba, a feast for the senses
I didn’t have high expectations for the hotel’s dining, but I was completely won over! The breakfast featured freshly baked waffles with wild blueberry jam—I could’ve eaten several servings. For lunch, the grilled lamb chops from the grasslands were crispy outside, tender inside, and completely free of any gamey taste, especially when paired with local seabuckthorn juice—absolutely divine! Dinner must include the hot pot, made with free-range lamb that cooks in seconds and pairs perfectly with sesame sauce—pure bliss 💥. The restaurant also has an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy barbecue in the summer, savoring the evening breeze under the stars—pure relaxation~

💁‍♀️ Thoughtful service, a home-away-from-home experience
From the front desk check-in to housekeeping, every staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming! They helped with luggage right as we arrived, and check-in was lightning-fast. Fresh local fruits like sweet-and-sour crabapples were delivered to the room daily. Upon checkout, they even gifted a small bag of wild mushrooms from the grasslands—such a thoughtful touch!

The hotel’s location is fantastic, right in the heart of Saihanba, just a 10-minute drive 🚗 from attractions like Qixing Lake and Saihan Tower.

Don’t miss this hotel when visiting Saihanba—it promises an unforgettable forest getaway!
