The cherry blossoms at Weifang People's Square are blooming again! Every year, this magnificent sea of pink flowers leaves me speechless! I've prepared this guide early this year to share with you all👇
📌Location: Weifang People's Square (near the south gate of Weifang Grand Theater)
🚗Transportation: If driving, navigate to "Weifang Grand Theater South Gate". There's a parking lot at the entrance with convenient parking. If taking public transit, check which bus routes stop at "People's Square" station - it's just a short walk from there.
⏰Best viewing period: Late March - Early April (bloom times may vary slightly depending on weather, check online for real-time updates before visiting)
Recommended Photo Spots
1. West side of the theater along Health Street: Much less crowded than Victory Street, you can freely enjoy the large cherry blossom grove and take photos however you like. Easily avoid crowds while capturing full blooming branches, plus there's a large patch of Japanese apricot trees that can be included in your shots, creating great depth in photos!
2. Small plaza on the east side of the square: European-style architecture in the background paired with cherry blossoms transforms into a romantic European street scene. Perfect for portrait close-ups with amazing atmosphere - you'll feel like the leading lady in an artistic film!
3. Middle section of the cherry blossom corridor: Low-hanging branches naturally frame the walkway. Stand in the middle and shoot upward for instant Japanese-style fresh photos while cleverly avoiding crowds - with only beautiful cherry blossoms in the background~
Photography Tips
1. Outfit coordination: Light-colored clothes photograph better. White, light pink, light blue dresses, or Japanese-style JK uniforms match perfectly with cherry blossoms, capturing the spring atmosphere.
2. Photo poses: Smelling flowers, reaching for falling petals, strolling under cherry trees - the more natural the movement, the better. Candid shots turn out vibrant and beautiful.
3. Shooting time: Morning and evening light is soft, creating natural soft-focus effects in photos. At night when the lights come on, the night cherry blossoms offer a different charm, with warm yellow lights illuminating the flowers creating maximum ambiance.
TIPS
1. Weekends and holidays are crowded. For undisturbed beautiful photos, try to come on working days or arrive early.
2. Protect the flowers and trees - don't break branches. Responsible viewing helps preserve the beauty longer~
3. Watch your battery and storage space - these beautiful cherry blossoms will make you want to keep taking photos non-stop📷
Catch the tail end of spring and come encounter this romantic cherry blossom feast at Weifang People's Square!💕
