Night view of Weihai's landmark, Happiness Gate

A city close to Korea and easy to read Korean

I visited the landmark of Weihai, Shandong Province, China, the Happy Gate.

Located right in front of the sea, this huge sculpture
was emitting a variety of colorful lights and creating a beautiful harmony of colors..

You can take the elevator located on the gate pillar
to go up to the top of the gate

and the gate itself was a huge screen that showed various images, which was quite a sight to see.

Weihai is a city where many Silla rooms were built during our Three Kingdoms Period
and where traces of Jang Bogo remain..
