Located at one of the final stops within Wensu Grand Canyon, Shizu Garden presents a breathtaking Danxia spectacle. Carved by eons of weathering and erosion, its red sandstone layers have been sculpted into a forest of distinct stone peaks and pillars—steep and sharp as if split by blades—reaching straight for the clouds.
This landscape is defined by sheer cliffs and unique mushroom-shaped stone columns, embodying the raw, powerful geology of the northwest—both desolate and magnificent. Against the blue sky, the vibrant red rock formations contrast poetically with the yellow earth, resembling a natural ink-wash painting. Visitors can follow the boardwalk that weaves through the area, experiencing up close the artistry of nature’s hand.
