Enjoy Water Activities, Nature, and Wildlife at Pu Kaeng Waterfall

⛰ Pu Kaeng Waterfall is a tourist attraction located in Phan District. It is a medium-sized waterfall situated within Doi Luang National Park, which features Doi Luang, the highest peak in the park.

🏞 The waterfall is formed from limestone deposits carried by the flowing water, creating beautiful rock formations and cliffs. It consists of 9 tiers, each approximately 100 meters apart.

🏞 The park comprises various types of forests, including pine forests, mixed deciduous forests, evergreen forests, dry evergreen forests, and dipterocarp forests, all of which are well-preserved and have high water retention. This ensures that streams and waterfalls in the park have water flowing year-round.

All tiers of the waterfall are suitable for swimming. Additionally, there are numerous shallow caves in the vicinity of the waterfall.

🌳 The area around the waterfall is home to a diverse range of plant and animal species.

🦚 Tourists often visit on weekends to relax, enjoy the cool and refreshing air, and take in the beautiful natural scenery.

🌄 The park has established a 1,500-meter nature trail with informational signs along the way to educate hikers. The trail is not steep and is easy to walk.

🏕 For those wishing to stay overnight, the park offers accommodations, restrooms, and camping areas.
