"Phu Chi Dao" is named for its peak, which points towards the sky. At night, it's a prime stargazing spot, as the stars are incredibly close, making it appear as if the mountain is pointing towards the stars. Phu Chi Dao is approximately 1,800 meters high, higher than Phu Chi Fa and Pha Tang. The view from Phu Chi Dao offers a 360-degree view. If you visit in the evening, you'll see the Mekong River below, alongside the lush, natural forests of Laos. I absolutely love the sea of mist here.
How to get there: Take a local four-wheel-drive vehicle, which will pick you up in front of your accommodation for 500 baht per vehicle. Then, walk about 300 meters to the summit.
