Wuhan Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall

The Museum of the Revolution of 1911 is the former site of the Wuchang Uprising military government and a national key cultural relics protection unit. The Wuchang Red Building here is an important historical site of the Revolution of 1911 led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen. It is also the former site of the Military Government of the Republic of China and the Governor's Office of the Hubei Army. It is the end of China's feudal monarchy and the beginning of the Chinese Republic. It is known as the Gate of the Republic of China.
Wuchang Red Building is located in the central area of ​​Wuchang City, right next to the Yellow Crane Tower. Behind it is Snake Mountain, which is Yellow Crane Tower Park, and next to it is the Yangtze River. The entire building has red walls and red tiles, showing the majesty and majesty of the revolutionary holy place. Surrounded by a circle of green grass and trees. There are two main buildings, one is the Wuchang Red Building, which is the Hubei Army Governor's Mansion. There are several military governor's offices, conference halls, staff offices, foreign affairs offices, etc. in the Hubei Army Governor's Mansion, and there is a great hall in the middle.
There is a larger building courtyard behind the Governor's Mansion, which is the exhibition hall of historical records of the Xinhai Revolution and Wuchang Uprising called "Being First for the World". There are two floors in total, and the main exhibitions are in small rooms on the first floor.
