Wuhan has a stunning "Plum Blossom Mountain," and it's a shame it's not more well-known!

My first spring hike of the new year was truly amazing. No need to travel far; we have our own romantic "Plum Blossom Mountain" right here in Wuhan!

The plum blossoms are in full bloom across the mountain, creating a breathtaking sight! And the best part? No crowds! Whether you're taking photos, hiking, or camping, you can enjoy your time to the fullest. It's also perfect for families, and you can even drive directly to the campsite. Even better, this beautiful scenery is completely free!

📍Address: Drive to Mulan Flower Valley, Huangpi District
🚗By car: Simply navigate to the destination. Don't park directly in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. Enter through the passage on the right side of the parking lot, turn left at the first intersection uphill, and you can drive directly into the mountain.
🚌By bus: Take Line 7 to Baitai Road Subway Station, transfer to bus P80, and get off at Flower Valley Station. The destination is an 80-meter walk from there.

⚠️Tips for photography/hiking/camping:
1️⃣The plum blossoms are currently in full bloom, with pure white, delicate pink, and vibrant red blossoms. The flowers will continue to bloom throughout March, making it the perfect time to visit.
2️⃣The area is ideal for hiking, even for families with young children. You can also enjoy a relaxing picnic or camping experience. There's a dirt road that leads directly to the pavilion at the mountaintop. Stroll through the mountains, surrounded by the fragrance of plum blossoms and a sense of freedom.
3️⃣The scenic area has a stamp-collecting activity. Collect all the stamps to redeem exquisite gifts.
4️⃣There are no shops along the hiking trails on the mountain, so be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks to stay energized.
5️⃣The scenic area offers accommodation facilities, perfect for a relaxing two-day weekend getaway.
6️⃣Nearby attractions include Mulan Mountain and Dayuwan. Consider visiting these places to enrich your trip.
7️⃣Spring weather can be unpredictable with significant temperature differences between day and night. Wear a 3-in-1 jacket for warmth and convenience while hiking.

- Plum blossoms: Currently in full bloom, expected to last until the end of the month.

- Camellias: Currently in peak bloom.

- Purple magnolias: Expected to bloom in mid-March.
