Many may not know that yingshanhong is actually an azalea. As the "azalea kingdom" of the world, China has many azalea viewing spots.
This is the largest azalea community in Central China. Every year in early April, nearly 100,000 acres of azaleas bloom here in a sea of red and pink, as vibrant as the sunset glow. It's like a beautiful ribbon floating in the green valleys, known as a "wonder of Central China."
✨About this place:
The scenic area is vast. It takes about 5 hours to tour the entire area by sightseeing bus. Remember to bring some snacks.
It is recommended to depart early on weekends or holidays to avoid peak crowds and enjoy a more pleasant experience.
The scenic area is large, so be sure to purchase a sightseeing bus ticket. You can hop on and off at any stop, which is very convenient.
Huahai and Huayu Mountain have the most azaleas in the scenic area, but Huahai tends to be more crowded.
📷About photography:
Don't wear red. Azaleas are mainly red, and clothes of the same color will blend into the sea of flowers.
Light-colored clothing is recommended. Hanfu or white dresses are great choices.
If you want to take photos in a less crowded area, you can go to Huayu Mountain, but the blooming period there is earlier.
📍Location: Yunwu Mountain Scenic Area, Huangpi, Wuhan, Hubei
🚇High-speed Rail: Arrive at Wuhan Station, then take a taxi.
🚘Self-driving: Navigate to "Huangpi Yunwu Mountain Scenic Area." There are nine parking lots in the scenic area. The first three are recommended as they are closer.

🌺2025 Azalea Blooming Period:
Due to different geographical environments, the peak blooming periods of azaleas on the three mountains will vary slightly, but they are generally consistent.
🌺Initial blooming period: Late March to early April
🌺Peak blooming period: Early April to early May
🌟Travel Tips:
1. Be sure to wear non-slip shoes in rainy weather, as the stone paths can be slippery after rain.
2. There is a large temperature difference between day and night in the mountains, so remember to bring a jacket.
3. Try to avoid visiting in rainy weather. The roads are better on sunny days, and the view is more stunning.
4. The weather can be hot during the peak blooming season, so remember to apply sunscreen before heading out.
