🎒 Wuhan for Girls: 2D1N University Student Budget Travel Guide

#springitinerary
✨Affordable, aesthetic, and full of photo ops!
🗓️ Day 1 Itinerary
🏯 [1] Gude Temple (古德寺)
🎟️ Entrance Fee: ¥13
📸 Photo Tip: As you enter, go straight to the central square — you'll find three iconic red benches with the temple wall as a backdrop. Super photogenic!
🧲 Souvenir Hack: Buy fridge magnets at the entrance for only ¥12 each — same designs sell for ¥28 at the shopping street! If you miss it, Longjiang Bridge vendors sometimes sell them for ¥10.
🕯️ Atmosphere: Unique blend of Western and Buddhist architecture. Quiet, peaceful, and full of vintage vibes.
🚕 [2] Lihuangpi Road (黎黄陂路)

📸 Hidden Spot: Your taxi might drop you near a former government building — there’s a red brick wall and colonial-style houses that look amazing in photos.
🍡 Local Snack: Buy lotus seeds & roasted water caltrop (tastes like chestnut) from the friendly street vendors.
🏠 Bargong House (巴公房子): Walk straight down the road — this building is uncannily similar to Shanghai's Wukang Mansion. It’s at a busy intersection so be cautious while taking photos!
📸 Best Angle Tip: Instead of shooting straight-on, try the side angle — the curves and structure show up better!
🚶♀️ [3] Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street (江汉路步行街)

❗ Note: Double-check your map! The guide ended up at the wrong street and walked 30 minutes to get to the actual one 😅
🍵 Snack Stop: Grab a drink from “Grandpa Doesn’t Brew Tea (爷爷不泡茶)” — the Wuhan Jasmine Tea is a hit!
🍽️ Dinner Picks:
Sesame Lotus Root Slices (芝麻藕丝) — crispy, sweet, and addictive
Big Plate Chicken (大盘鸡) — huge portions, flavorful, and budget-friendly
👣 Bonus: This pedestrian street is super long and always packed — perfect for walking off dinner and soaking up city life
