Pathfinder Episode 164: Returning to Foguang Temple

Paying respects at Foguang Temple again.
I was here just a few months ago. [Beg]
🌺
The signs on the stalls on both sides from the parking lot to the temple entrance are interesting, with playful logical twists and straightforward content, see pictures 2 and 3. [ThumbsUp]
Also managed to capture Foguang Temple’s famous dog, Erliang, in picture 6.
🌺
Unfortunately, the side hall was closed this time, so I could only peek in from the doorway. The main hall features a group of Buddha statues on the stage and beautifully shaped, vivid Arhat figures on both sides. The only regret is the renovation paintings from the Republic of China era, which look somewhat awkwardly bright no matter how you see them.
When cultural relics and historic sites are covered up, the marks accumulated by time seem to lose their spirit.
🌺
Still a fine drizzle.
