#AbsolutelyFreeTrip Jichoyuan Garden, located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China, is a garden built around the 16th century in Xihui Park. It is very popular and attracts many tourists from both within and outside of Japan. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty also loved this garden and visited it many times, and is said to have had a garden modeled after Jichoyuan built in the Summer Palace in Beijing. Calligraphy by Emperor Qianlong is also displayed in the garden, and there is a large lake on the premises, surrounded by a corridor. It is said that Qianlong Pavilion and the monks of the temple played chess in the hexagonal pavilion in the corridor. It is a picturesque and beautiful garden.
