Visit the tea garden and have a cup of the awesome Da Hong Pao~

Visiting tea gardens and drinking good tea is a must when visiting Wuyi Mountain, especially the famous Dahongpao🍵. According to legend, a commoner student was on his way to Beijing for an imperial examination. He collapsed under a tea tree by the roadside because he was too thirsty and tired. Upon seeing him, the locals immediately offered him a cup of delicious tea. As a result, the student eventually won the top spot in the imperial examination and returned to cover his red robe on the tea tree where he had rested.

There are only six of the earliest Dahongpao mother trees left, and they have been fenced off and people are not allowed to approach. The Dahongpao that everyone drinks now is grafted from these mother trees. The real original Dahongpao costs hundreds of thousands per kilogram, and it may not be available. It is definitely tea gold💎

🍃The entire Dahongpao scenic area is adopted by several large tea factories. You can see some famous varieties along the way, such as cinnamon, kengjian tea, etc. If you have time, you can also visit the tea making process in the nearby tea factory. It is very entertaining and educational. I highly recommend it❤️
